The NoFakeBiz Model
Official Reference
The official conceptual architecture of NoFakeBiz: how the platform is organized and how its core concepts relate to one another.
This document is for partners, developers, AI systems, and anyone who needs the full system in one view. New members should start with Digital You.
How to Read This Model
This is not a feature list. It is the ontology of NoFakeBiz — the official concepts and how they nest. Each node on the map links to its definition in NFB Concepts.
Two different orders matter, and they must not be mixed:
- Concept structure — what belongs inside what (for example, Digital You is composed of a private Account and Public Identities).
- User experience order — what a person usually does first (for example, create an Account, then add public roles).
Starting a story with “create an account” helps a human. It does not make Account the parent of Digital You in the ontology.
This page is also not Platform Status (what exists today), Geographic Coverage (what place and category numbers mean), Verification Philosophy (what evidence claims mean), or How Discover Works (how finding works). Those documents surround the Model; they are not new identity types.
Identity Type is institutional ontology. A new authoritative Identity Type requires proposal, ontology/concept review, human institutional acceptance, an authority/model update, and only then implementation. A proposed label is not automatically an Identity Type and requires human determination.
Chamber and platform
The Digital Chamber of Commerce is the root concept of this Model: digital infrastructure for local economic life, linked into a wider and global network without erasing place.
NoFakeBiz is the public platform that operates within the Digital Chamber of Commerce. That is an institutional fact stated in prose. It does not insert “NoFakeBiz” as a new parent node above the Chamber in the ontology tree below.
Architecture map
Ontology map — constitution of concepts. Not an adoption chart, franchise map, or verification badge chart.
Model laws
These are axioms of the model — not product features.
- Account is private.
- Public Identity is public.
- Every Public Identity requires a private Account relationship.
- Account controls and manages Public Identity; this is not ontological ownership.
- Reputation belongs to the Public Identity that acted.
- Content belongs to the Public Identity that acted.
- Trust is earned.
A Person is a human being. A User is a Person using the NoFakeBiz system and is not an Identity Type. An Account Holder is a Person with an authorized access/control relationship to a private Account. Member remains undefined; these terms must not be treated as automatic synonyms.
Where you are in this system
This section is a lived walkthrough — how a person experiences the system. It does not redraw the ontology tree above.
Diagram B — lived orientation. Containment is shown by the Digital You enclosure (not by an “includes” arrow). Labeled arrows mean controls, represents, belongs to, or has. Dashed boxes are context only.
Imagine you own a tire shop and join NoFakeBiz:
- You create one private Account (login and control). The public does not meet your Account.
- That Account is part of your Digital You — your enduring public presence system inside the Digital Chamber. Your Digital You also includes the public identities through which your different roles appear. Conceptually, Digital You sits above Account and Public Identity in the ontology; experientially, you often create the Account first.
- You may hold a Personal Identity and, if you need it, a Professional Identity. Those are public roles — not additional accounts. Identity Switching changes which Public Identity is active; it does not change the underlying Person or private Account.
- Your tire shop may be represented by a Business Identity under Organizations. That is the shop speaking as the shop — not your Personal page, and not your Account. Business and Organization Public Identities are controlled and managed through authorized human Account relationships. Organizations do not independently authenticate as human Users.
- What you publish, and Reputation, belong to the identity that acted.
- Your place (geographic home or scope) helps organize local discovery. It is not a franchise chapter and not an identity owner. See Geographic Coverage and the local-network sections of Digital Chamber of Commerce.
- Discover is how others find public identities in a place field — a view/access layer, not a parent concept in the ontology.
- Verification names specific checked claims (today: email control). It is not a blanket “verified Digital You” badge and not an identity type.
Layers around the ontology
These ideas help you use the Model. They are not new nodes in the tree above, and they do not become parents of Digital You or Public Identity.
- Place — home/scope property for participation and discovery (Geographic Coverage).
- Discover — view/access layer for finding public identities in a place (Discovery Principles · How Discover Works).
- Verification — evidence attached to specific claims (Verification Philosophy).
- Platform Status — what is built, live, testing, or planned (Platform Status).
What this Model is not
- Not a feature inventory or product tour
- Not a claim of dense membership everywhere (see Platform Status)
- Not a franchise or chapter map (see Digital Chamber local network)
- Not a verification-badge chart (see Verification Philosophy)
- Not permission to reorder Digital You under Account for storytelling convenience
The NoFakeBiz Model is the official ontology of the Digital Chamber of Commerce. Digital You sits under the Chamber and includes a private Account, Public Identities, Reputation, and Identity Switching. Every Public Identity requires a private Account relationship. Account is private; Public Identities are public; Account controls and manages Public Identity rather than ontologically owning it. Business and Organization Public Identities are controlled and managed through authorized human Account relationships. Reputation and content belong to the Public Identity that acts. Identity Switching changes the active Public Identity without changing the underlying Person or private Account. Identity Type is institutional ontology, and a new authoritative Identity Type requires proposal, ontology/concept review, human institutional acceptance, an authority/model update, and only then implementation. NoFakeBiz is the platform that operates within the Chamber. Place provides geographic home/scope for participation and discovery; Discover is a view/access layer for finding public identities; verification is scoped evidence attached to claims. These surrounding layers do not replace or reorder the ontology.
