Who stands behind NoFakeBiz — and who accepts responsibility for this institution?

This page is not a company brochure and not a marketing “About us.” It is a Trust document: accountability for the Digital Chamber of Commerce.

1. Purpose

Ownership exists so people, partners, and machines can answer a simple question without guessing: Who is responsible for NoFakeBiz as an institution?

A platform that asks members for accountable identity cannot hide the people and responsibilities behind its own name. This document makes that responsibility explicit — and honest about what is not yet fully published.

2. Why Ownership matters

Institutions are trusted only when responsibility can be named. Ownership allows people, partners, regulators, and AI systems to understand who stands behind public commitments. Without ownership, accountability becomes impossible.

3. What Ownership means

Institutional ownership means: who stands behind the institution, who holds responsibility for its direction and public claims, and how that accountability is shown.

It covers:

  • Responsibility — who answers for institutional decisions and public documents
  • Governance — how direction is set and constrained (axioms, doctrine, review)
  • Public accountability — what the institution is willing to put on the record

Keep three layers distinct:

  • Institutional ownership — this document: who stands behind the institution and holds responsibility for its direction and public claims
  • Leadership / accountability surface — how direction is exercised day to day and who may speak for the institution; a dedicated Leadership page is Planned; Our Team is the current interim public surface
  • A person’s Public Identity — how a human appears publicly as a member (Personal, Professional, and other roles). A founder’s Public Identity is not a substitute Ownership document and not a second institution

This document is about ownership of the institution. It is related to — but not the same as — the Foundation axiom Ownership over capture, which protects what members create and earn. See Foundation and the axioms for that dimension.

4. What Ownership is not

  • Not a substitute for About NoFakeBiz (what the institution is)
  • Not Leadership (planned) — how authority is exercised day to day; Team is the interim public surface
  • Not a person’s Public Identity — including a founder’s Personal or Professional page
  • Not a finished corporate registry filing page (see Reality — we do not invent legal facts)
  • Not “Ownership over capture” rewritten as branding
  • Not a promise that every vendor, partner, or contractor “is NoFakeBiz”
  • Not anonymous platform theater — we refuse to ask members for accountability we will not practice

5. Principles

  1. Named responsibility — institutional direction has a named human accountable party, not a faceless brand only.
  2. Claim discipline — we do not publish ownership or legal facts we cannot support.
  3. Separate layers — institution ownership ≠ member ownership of content/identity ≠ verification claims.
  4. Governance before theater — axioms, Official Documents, and Architecture Review constrain what “ownership” may invent.
  5. Public accountability grows with honesty — missing registry detail is stated as missing, not decorated.
  6. Chamber alignment — ownership serves the Digital Chamber of Commerce, not capture of member identity or reputation.

Relationship to the Digital Chamber of Commerce

NoFakeBiz is the public platform that operates within the Digital Chamber of Commerce. Institutional ownership is ownership of that operating responsibility — keeping the Chamber’s rules, documents, and public claims coherent — not ownership of members’ identities, businesses, or content.

Relationship to Official Documents

This page belongs in the Official Documents register under Governance. It does not replace Foundation, Mission, Privacy, Verification, or Terms. Those documents answer other questions; Ownership answers who stands behind the set.

6. Reality v1

Today (honest snapshot):

  • Founder / accountable party (named publicly): Amir Basic — listed on Our Team as Founder. Sets product direction and institutional constraints.
  • Brand / domain: NoFakeBiz operates publicly at nofakebiz.com.
  • Independent builders: Engineering and institutional writing are done by a small independent team; they do not replace founder accountability for institutional direction.
  • Not yet published here: full corporate registration numbers, registered office address as a legal filing extract, or external registry corroboration links. Those belong in a later Reality version when they are accurate and ready to show — not invented for appearance.
  • Leadership document: a dedicated Leadership page is planned; Team is the current thin public surface.

Reality must not rewrite Purpose. If a detail is not ready, this page says so.

Reality versions evolve only by adding verified facts. They never replace honesty with appearance.
