Operational Principles
What do we do every day in the Digital Chamber of Commerce because we believe the four axioms? Not a second Foundation — day-to-day rules that must never contradict an axiom.
From Identity
Identity before engagement.
- Presence before volume. Anonymous activity and click volume are not the primary measure of success.
- Accountable participation. Membership assumes a real participant layer — not engagement without identity.
From Relations
Community over algorithms.
- Relationships before ranking. Ranking may assist discovery; it must not turn the Chamber into an engagement machine.
- Human connection before optimization. Connecting people and community outranks optimizing for metrics alone.
From Knowledge
Truth over popularity.
- Never rank popularity above factual integrity.
- Reach informs. It does not determine truth. Amplification informs observation; it does not define knowledge.
From Ownership
Ownership over capture.
- No default absorption. What members create, earn, and are known for is not absorbed by default.
- Refuse capture paths. We do not design for identity, audience, content, or reputation capture as growth strategy.
Cross-cutting
- Explainable through Foundation and Trust. Features pass Architecture Review: axioms, these principles, and Collect→Protect→Claim→Reveal→Access.
- Category honesty. Represent the institution truthfully; never simplify it into the wrong category for convenience.
Hierarchy
Axioms → what we believe Mission (derived) → why we exist Operational Principles → how we act every day
