What is NoFakeBiz?
A Digital Chamber of Commerce where real people and legitimate organizations can be found, trusted, and contacted through a digital presence they own — organized locally, connected globally.
Who can join?
Individuals, freelancers, businesses, and organizations (including non-profits and government agencies). Every account starts as an individual membership; other public layers come when you need them.
Membership & Confirmation
How do I confirm my account?
After you register, confirm the email we send you. That is the primary membership gate — it proves you control that address. It is not passport or government-ID verification. Optional phone confirmation may be available later in your profile when configured.
Do you publish everything I enter at registration?
No. Collect ≠ publish. Registration builds a membership record. What appears on a public Personal or Business page follows identity purpose and visibility rules.
Visibility, Ads & Privacy
Can I promote my business?
Yes. You can build a public Business identity, list services, post updates, and connect locally. Fair visibility means organic discovery stays honest. If labeled promotional slots exist later, they will sit beside organic results — payment buys space, never truth.
Is NoFakeBiz ad-free? Is my data sold?
We do not sell your membership data as a product. Promotion on the platform is meant to be transparent and optional where offered — not engagement theater that secretly reorders organic trust. For how we think about privacy, see Privacy Explained.
Do algorithms decide who I see?
Discovery is meant to follow place, identity, and useful filters — not a feed optimized to keep you scrolling. We do not claim a world with “zero algorithms”; we refuse ranking that sells attention as truth.

How do I print an article or save it as a PDF?
On a published article, use Print to print from your browser, or PDF to open a print-friendly page and save as PDF.
Cleaner pages (recommended): In the print dialog, open More settings and turn off Headers and footers. That removes the repeating date, site title, and web address your browser adds. You can keep page numbers if your browser offers them.
Then choose your printer or Save as PDF. The first page includes the article title, author, publish date, reading time, and word count.
